Well I'm embarassed to admit this but we haven't started composting in our house yet.  Every time we through away something that I know can be composted I feel like I'm really wasting resources.  For some reason walking scraps downstairs to the green compost bins supplied by our waste management company just isn't happening.

I don't think its hot enough in our area to start an actual compost heap, but I should probably research that before I make that conclusion.  Assuming I'm correct about that though, I think our best bet is a new worm composting solution.

We finally harvested something from our backyard this weekend! I pulled several nice, juicy Early Girl tomatoes from our plants and they were delicious!
